Aidan Donnelley Rowley
Founder & Curator • New York City
Aidan Donnelley Rowley is an attorney-turned-author who founded Happier Hours in 2010 before publishing her first novel Life After Yes. An academic romantic, Aidan longed for the theoretical depths of her seminar days at Yale and Columbia Law and started hosting book salons in her home as a way to connect with and promote fellow authors and to commune with other book-lovers in her hometown of New York City. Since its inception, Aidan has hosted more than thirty authors while raising her three young daughters - affectionately dubbed the Rowlets - and continuing to blog regularly and write books. Aidan’s second novel The Ramblers was published by William Morrow in February 2016. She is represented by Brettne Bloom of The Book Group. Image credit: Elena Seibert 2015.
